North Dakota State University to receive $175,000 grant for computer engineering research

Fargo, North Dakota – A grant is being given to a well-known local university to support research and educate incoming students.

North Dakota State University has received a grant of $174,999 from the National Science Foundation and Division of Computing and Communication Foundations, according to U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND).

The funding will be used to study “multi-level cells,” memory cells that can store data more effectively.

The research from this study will be used in computer engineering undergraduate and graduate courses, according to the documents outlining the grant’s intended use.
