An extradited Nigerian man will go on trial in Bismarck, North Dakota, for a purported financial fraud plot

Bismarck, North Dakota – A federal court in North Dakota has indicted a Nigerian man on charges of wire fraud, mail fraud, and money laundering.

Christopher Agbaje, according to the authorities, was extradited from the United Kingdom to appear in court in North Dakota following his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to swindle a Bismarck law office out of more than $198,000.

Agbaje was extradited from the United Kingdom to appear in court on February 12 in Bismarck.

The trial for Agbaje is set for April.
