Fargo, North Dakota – Being away from home over the holidays may be difficult, but students joined together for the inaugural “NDSU Friendsgiving.”

For a complimentary lunch, the event brought together international students and other students spending their winter vacation in the residence halls. The feast featured a vegetable lasagna, several desserts, and Thanksgiving mainstays including roast turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing.

NDSU Student Affairs and Institutional Equity, the NDSU Foundation, and President David Cook and Dr. Kate Cook co-hosted the event.

During the lunch hour on November 22, a group of students and other campus visitors convened at the NDSU Memorial Union.
