Pfizer requires FDA to expand vaccination to children under the age of five

The next stage in ensuring that more youngsters are protected against coronavirus has begun.
Pfizer has requested that the Food and Drug Administration allow it to use vaccinations on children under the age of five. At this point, it would only be for a total of two shots.
According to the company, they will continue to investigate how effectively three dosages work in this age range of people.
In two weeks, federal regulators will gather to analyze the data. An approval vote will be taken by a CDC panel after that.
A final decision is likely to be made by the end of this month.
