Fargo, North Dakota – The coaching staff has been moving and speculating for weeks, and it looks like the Bison will not be keeping their offensive coordinator.

At Ohio Valley Conference School Tennessee State University, Tyler Roehl will assume the same role.

After Tim Polasek was hired as head coach, there had been rumors that Roehl would be departing North Dakota State, but when Roehl was made associate head coach, it seemed like those rumors had been squashed.

In Nashville, he will go by the same title.

“My family and I couldn’t be more excited to join TSU because of the people, the vision, and the opportunity to positively impact the community and team,” said Roehl in a press release from Tennessee State. “We are going to Nashville on a mission to do things at a championship level daily.”

Since joining the Bison Staff in 2014, Roehl has never served as a coach for a school other than NDSU.

The West Fargo graduate was a Bison player as well.

The hunt for a new offensive coordinator is now underway. As soon as those updates are available, we’ll provide them.
