Street widening activities to start Sunday, March 19 in residential neighborhoods

Fargo, North Dakota – Crews from Fargo Public Works will clear snow overnight starting on Sunday, March 19 at 11 p.m. and continuing through Friday, March 24 at 7 a.m. in an effort to widen the roads.
The following residential neighborhoods will receive special attention from Public Works crews:
• From 12th Ave. N. to 13th Ave. S.
• From the Red River to University Drive
On alternating days, seasonal nighttime parking restrictions are in force from 1 a.m. until 7 a.m.
• East/West Avenues: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
• North/South Streets: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Fargo Public Works asks for the public’s help in providing tools and staff members with enough space to clear the snow. According to the seasonal parking regulations displayed, residents and visitors are asked to move any vehicles parked on the streets or avenues.
Throughout this nocturnal operation, residents should also anticipate hearing noise from the equipment.
