Veteran of the Grand Forks Air Force declares candidacy for North Dakota legislature

Grand Forks, North Dakota – A moderate Republican candidate has declared his candidacy for the North Dakota legislature.

Scott Scholfield is vying for the State House seat representing District 18.

After serving in the Air Force for 24 years, Schofield led the 319th Reconnaissance Wing as its chief of staff from 2022 to 2023.

He works as a senior manager at Grand Sky for Northrop Grumman right now.

According to Schofield, his priorities will be strengthening families, diversifying the economy, and enhancing access to healthcare.
