Fargo, North Dakota – When a Fargo police officer observed two cars racing each other at high speeds close to 45th Street and 13th Avenue S earlier this week, four people were taken into custody.

The cars were speeding across a company parking lot, and eventually one of them struck the other, according to Street Crimes Unit Sgt. Travis Moser.

According to Moser, the police discovered that the pursuit was caused by a drug deal involving M-30 fentanyl pills.

Reckless endangerment led to the arrest of 51-year-old Deron Manseau of Mandan. An outstanding drug warrant led to the arrest of Mandan resident Raquel American Horse, 24. Fargo resident Lamar Taylay, 21, was taken into custody on charges of resisting arrest, having drug paraphernalia, and having a drug warrant. The arrest of Fargo resident Artez Walker, 21, was due to a probation violation warrant.
